Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to Costara, a service operated by NovaHaven Tech, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Costara is a subscription SaaS billed monthly via Razorpay. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR).


1. Overview

Costara subscriptions auto-renew at the start of each billing cycle. You will be charged at the beginning of each monthly period until you cancel.


2. Cancellation

You can cancel your Costara subscription at any time from your dashboard settings (Account → Billing → Cancel Subscription).

  • After cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period
  • You will not be charged for the following month
  • No partial refunds are issued for time remaining in the month when you cancel mid-cycle
  • Free plan accounts can be deleted at any time with no charge

3. Refund Eligibility

7-day refund window (new subscribers)

If you subscribe to a paid plan for the first time and are not satisfied, we offer a full refund if you request it within 7 days of your first charge. This applies to new subscribers only — not to plan upgrades or renewals.

Billing errors

If you were charged due to a billing error or a fault on our side (for example, charged after cancellation or charged an incorrect amount), you are eligible for a full refund regardless of timing. Contact us and we will resolve it promptly.

No refunds are offered for:

  • Change of mind after the 7-day window
  • Partial months resulting from mid-cycle cancellation
  • Unused events within a billing period
  • Plan renewals after the initial 7-day window

4. How to Request a Refund

Email support@novahaven.tech with the following:

  • Subject line: Refund Request — [your registered email]
  • Your account email address
  • The date of the charge
  • The reason for the refund request

We will respond within 2 business days.


5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay to the original payment instrument (card, UPI, or net banking).

As per RBI guidelines, refunds are typically credited within 5–7 business days after approval. In some cases, Razorpay processing fees may be non-recoverable.


6. Disputes and Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact us at support@novahaven.tech before raising a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly and directly.

Unresolved disputes may be escalated to Razorpay via their dispute resolution process.
